Our commitment to reducing environmental impact starts with thoughtful design and remains central throughout production. Our engineering team focuses on carefully creating solutions that extract the maximum potential from each foam plank, using the least material necessary. This sustainable approach to foam utilization helps minimize waste, conserves resources and tool performance, and provides our customers with affordable packaging options that maintain environmental awareness from beginning to end.
Foam Waste Recycling
PE foam waste is delivered to our recycling partners in Monroe, GA where it is ground down, melted and extruded into LDPE pellets. These are reintroduced into the LDPE (#4 Plastic) supply chain to be used in new products.
Cross Linked PE Foam waste is sent to Schmitz recycling center where the material is ground down and re-bonded. The resulting foam material is then used to make turf underlayment for playgrounds, sports fields and more.
